Karen Weber, R.D. 
Karen Weber, R.D., has been with the Cholesterol Center since 1991, working with patients on cholesterol issues, weight management, diabetes and insulin resistance. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Dayton and completed an internship with University Hospital in Cincinnati. Before joining the Cholesterol Center, Karen was a community dietitian and minority health dietitian for the Cincinnati Nutrition Council. Her publications include “Recipe Rehab,” a bi-weekly column that appeared in the Cincinnati Enquirer from 1992 - 2004, the Guide To Heart-Healthy Eating and the Recipe Rehab Cookbook. Karen has also received certification from the American Dietetic Association in adult weight management.
Parul Kothari, R.D., L.D. 
Parul Kothari, R.D., L.D has been with the Cholesterol and Metabolism Center since August 2008, working with patients on cholesterol issues, weight management, diabetes and insulin resistance. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Bombay, India and completed the Didactic program in dietetics through Miami University, Oxford, OH. There after, she completed her internship with Murray State University, Murray, KY. Parul has experience in various fields of dietetics ranging from health clinics, fitness centers to hospitals. Before joining the Cholesterol Center, Parul was a clinical dietitian for Middletown Regional Hospital. She regularly taught cardiac rehab classes, in addition to being the inpatient dietitian for the hospitals. She was also actively involved in organizing nutrition fairs, and spreading awareness for healthy eating.
